A macabre space metroidvania/rogue-like
Game
Katanaut is a rogue-like/Metroidvania action game, developed by Voidmaw and published by Acclaim, in which you control a kind of astronaut samurai, in rogue-like stages (that is, if you die, you come back), facing several other "residents" who have been infected and become certain monsters.

As you progress through the level, you collect some items that can make improvements to your character (temporary), as well as different weapons (where you always fight with a sword and a shotgun), in addition to some special attacks of different types.
My impressions
The game's design is quite interesting, blending a bit of a spooky atmosphere with a futuristic, pixelated feel. Like any rogue-like, the goal is to get as far as possible without dying (where you can heal, but healing is limited, and more must be found).

However, the game becomes a bit repetitive and somewhat complicated when trying to advance further in the level, as it ends up being somewhat confusing, which ends up discouraging you from trying the same level again.
Achievements
The game has a total of 100 achievements, many of which are not that difficult and can be achieved by meeting NPCs in the game for the first time.
