Unravel the mysteries of Myst Island.
THE GAME
Myst is a puzzle game developed and published by Cyan Worlds, Inc. On the island of Myst, mysteries surround the land. Travel between the so-called Eras and solve the puzzles scattered throughout them, while you discover more about a family conflict and its consequences. Pay attention to the clues and unravel all the mysteries in Myst.

MY IMPRESSIONS
A revamped classic, Myst delivers a more modern-friendly game without sacrificing its strengths. The puzzles remain interesting and challenging, as they should be, always requiring the player to explore and note down clues (or take photos) to progress. The environments create a pleasant sense of strangeness, like a place with structures that shouldn't be there, but which lend an air of mystery to the game. Everything here is important, and you'll use everything from your logical abilities to your auditory perceptions to advance the story.
The game is in Brazilian Portuguese, essential for players to understand the story's context and even to grasp some clues during the game. Although the player will likely focus more on completing the puzzles and progressing, Myst has a story that guides the game and, depending on your choices, will lead to different endings, which is quite interesting for a puzzle-focused game and can create replay value. Therefore, there is an option when starting Myst that allows you to randomize the puzzles; that is, it will change the classic, predetermined solutions of the game to completely different ones, thus making it more difficult for the player to progress.
Myst will appeal to all lovers of modern puzzle games who, in some way, have drawn inspiration from this genre. It's a game with just the right level of difficulty that will require a lot of logical thinking and note-taking, but it's very satisfying when its mysteries are solved.

ACHIEVEMENT
Myst's achievements are basically tied to its puzzles; solving each one will earn you an achievement. However, there are other situations that generate achievements, such as solving a specific puzzle on your first try without making a mistake. Performing certain specific actions and accessing a secret area also have related achievements. Finally, completing the game in a randomized order and seeing all the endings are also necessary to get 100% of the achievements. It will be a good challenge for those looking for a challenging puzzle game.

CONCLUSION
Myst is a classic that brought much of what we see in today's acclaimed puzzle games. Seeing it revamped and ready to be reintroduced to new players is really cool and demonstrates that it's still very competent as a puzzle-focused game. The difficulty of the challenges is great, and I spent some time solving some puzzles, but that's more my fault than the game's design. It's well worth revisiting a classic of the genre, especially with the beautiful improvements implemented by the developers.
