Puzzle games are always welcome and Toodee and Topdee show that innovating in cooperative mechanics (or not) can make a game very special.
GAMEPLAY
We split into two main characters who give the game its name. We control one at a time (even in co-op mode). The game is quite simple, what gives an innovative tone is the perspective approach. While one of our protagonists has a platform game perspective, the other interprets the perspective in an isometric way. It is necessary to combine both approaches to solve puzzles in the game. We go through different worlds facing their bosses and the difficulty is to climb. Maybe making it playable with both characters in co-op mode would have given it a different glow and even an extra reason to play with a friend.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Toodee and Topdee's achievements are not friendly, which makes the game extremely frustrating, as we have to solve the challenges within the established minimum time, which is not a simple task. Another problem is that we need to do as little interleaving as possible between the characters. I confess that this is the most frustrating part of this game, as I would have been very satisfied if the achievements were not so demanding on the part of the game, since, to reach perfection in some phases, it is necessary to be almost a pro-player to do it it without a guide.

RESUME
Toodee and Topdee is quite challenging, despite its achievements being considered frustrating and unpleasant, but if you don't mind that, you will certainly have a satisfying experience until the mid-game, when it can become challenging in itself. The game is innovative in cooperation and vision perspective in the genre. The stages are well built and so are the enemies. I recommend this game for those who want an extra challenge, as it is quite a difficult game by similar puzzle game standards.
