Will you be able to reach room 46?
THE GAME
Blue Prince is a roguelite puzzle game developed by Dogubomb and published by Raw Fury. You are at the entrance of a mansion in Mt. Holly. A mission has been given to you by your deceased relative to unravel the mysteries of the mansion and reach your final objective. The problem is that this is no ordinary mansion: upon entering, you choose which room will appear when you open the door. Furthermore, if you can no longer progress, your only option is to end your day, which resets all your progress; all the rooms disappear and you are back at the mansion entrance. What awaits you in the coveted Room 46?

MY IMPRESSIONS
It's important to state from the outset that Blue Prince is a game to be savored, meaning don't rush. The game has a slow pace, but in a way that complements the proposed gameplay. In the first attempts, everything will generate a mixture of confusion and curiosity. Exploring each room, discovering new items, only to then encounter a dead end and start all over again will be your mantra. The game insists that the player explore every corner, without explaining much or giving many hints about what you can or cannot do. You have a certain number of steps to complete, which are subtracted each time you pass through a new room. If this number reaches zero, that day ends. The days in the game, which are your attempts, are also important, as they can unlock certain resources on specific days. There are ways to recover steps, as well as obtain resources such as coins, gems, and keys, which are important for your journey to progress.
It's difficult to talk much about Blue Prince without spoiling the surprises or discoveries that are an important part of the game. The feeling of having solved a puzzle is the greatest reward the game will give you. Focusing more on the feeling of playing Blue Prince, you feel lost most of the time, in a good way. Exploring each room, piecing together clues scattered everywhere and trying to understand where to use them is the magic of the game. Unfortunately, the game is not in Brazilian Portuguese, for some specific reasons related to the puzzles, but I believe that even so, you can understand what is happening, since there are no huge texts. Every time you finish a day in the game, everything is reset. Although it seems like a boring mechanic, it is essential to the mechanics of Blue Prince. This game is definitely for lovers of the puzzle genre, as it requires a lot of effort and perseverance to look at every corner, write down every clue, restart hundreds of times and continue to enjoy what is being presented. Keep in mind that it is a slow game, with a different approach than what we have on the market, with a unique and long experience, and you will not be frustrated with Blue Prince.

ACHIEVEMENTS
If all the puzzles offered by Blue Prince aren't challenging enough, you can still try to complete all 16 achievements it has, called trophies within the game. I won't go into too much detail about them, as they can even be considered puzzles within the game itself, since some of them require different steps, but you'll find challenges like reaching room 46 in just one day of gameplay or in 1 hour of gameplay. Or reaching room 46 in some game modes that make the gameplay a little more difficult. In short, completing 100% of Blue Prince's achievements will be for a select group of people who will truly be deserving of such a feat.

CONCLUSION
Blue Prince is definitely a unique experience. You'll feel really dumb at first, until you start figuring things out, think you're doing well, only to feel dumb again. And that's great! It's a game that encourages you to explore, take notes, and experiment, in a loop of successes and failures that always teach you something. Even after hours of playing, you'll still be learning and discovering new things. Don't rush, try several times, even if it's just a little each day if you really enjoy puzzle games. Blue Prince is a very niche game and, perhaps for that reason, it won't appeal to everyone, but it will certainly be insanely satisfying for those who enjoy a good puzzle game.
