Unite your team and your weapons to embark on a great adventure.
THE GAME
Lost Castle 2 is a city-building and management game developed and published by Hunter Studio. To overcome the greatest challenges and face the most powerful creatures, equip yourself with the best you have and gather some friends to embark on an action-packed adventure.

MY IMPRESSIONS
If there's one thing you can't complain about in Lost Castle 2, it's its variety. With over 200 different weapons, plus various types of enchantments and purchasable upgrades, every adventure has its own unique twist. With a starting village that already offers you some upgrades, you'll begin your journey there, alone or with friends. Unfortunately, the game isn't in Brazilian Portuguese, which can make it difficult to understand some mechanics or item effects. As simple as the game may seem, it's complex when it comes to items and effects, meaning you're always offered many options to choose from, each with a different effect, which can slow down the action. Perhaps, over time, you'll end up memorizing what you like and dislike, but with such a vast array of options, I find it a bit difficult.
The gameplay is quite simple, like any good beat 'em up, adding and modifying combos depending on the weapon used. You can also encounter curses, which grant you advantages that come with some disadvantages. These can be purified at springs found throughout your adventure, leaving you with only the good part of the curse as a reward for completing the challenge. The basic enemies aren't very complex, leaving the challenge to the bosses. With so many different routes to take, collectible weapons, and possible effects, Lost Castle 2 will keep you quite busy if you want to see everything it has to offer.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Lost Castle 2's achievements aren't particularly surprising: defeat the bosses in each area, collect as much treasure as possible, and complete quests with specific weapons. Combined with a few more specific achievements, completing 100% of the achievements will be a matter of time and effort.

CONCLUSION
Having already played the first title in the series, I can see the significant improvement in Lost Castle 2. The variety of features the game offers is both a gift and a curse, as having many options is good, but having them thrust at you from the very beginning ended up leaving me lost and, in a way, overwhelmed. Even though the game is in early access, it feels quite complete, but with many things already defined to be added and improved over time.
