  • Review: This Means Warp

Grab your friends and travel aboard your ship in search of exploring space in This Means Warp. THE GAME This Means Warp is a ship management game developed by Outlier and distributed by Jagex Ltd. Gather your crew and try to survive your space travels, whether alone or with up to three friends. Improve your ship and create your own strategy to defeat the different enemies that try to destroy your ship. And if that happens, don't worry: you'll come back stronger for a new adventure. MY IMPRESSIONS I love cooperative management games. Couple that with Faster Than Light and you have This Means Warp. Fun is guaranteed and so is difficulty. It's a very intuitive and simple game to understand, but very difficult to advance without due care. Because it's a game with levels and progression, it's understandable that you lose a lot of times, but I didn't think it was so fair. In my first run, when advancing to the next galactic system, when I came across the first enemy, he obliterated me without me being able to even try to defend myself. Was I unlucky or was the game designed that way so you can play and progress at a slower pace? This is my only reservation, as all other aspects are well done. The game is in Portuguese-Brazil, which helps you understand the descriptions of weapons and items clearly. The visual style is pleasant and the characters are charismatic. Playing with friends makes everything more fun and chaotic, without losing clarity in your actions. There is a good variety of items in the game, which can also be improved with improvements that you earn by defeating enemies. Every match will be unique, so maybe you'll be lucky to find that powerful weapon or you'll be unlucky and destroyed in your first battle. The game's bots are well programmed and you can select exactly what you want them to do. So, if you don't have friends, fear not, bots are there to save you. ACHIEVEMENTS I hope you have time, because you're going to need it. Achievements are quite complicated when it comes to achieving 100% of them. We go from simple ones like leveling up or spending money in the store, to more complicated ones like obtaining prestige or completing the game on the hardest difficulty. It will take a lot of tries, so don't get frustrated. CONCLUSION Finally someone put two good things together and something good came out. This Means Warp two completely different gameplay styles and presents something fun and challenging. Without a doubt, if you play with your friends, you will always want to go further and further in each run. The simplicity that the game brings is great, as it is a cooperative game, it is best that it is intuitive and easy to learn so that everyone can enjoy the game. I love co-op games, and when I see one coming out I always take a look at its core idea to see new and fun things. This Means Warp is one of those games, which risks combining roguelite with cooperative management and achieves a very good result. SCORE: 8.0/10

  • Review DLC: Dredge The Pale Reach(2023)

The acclaimed Dredge gets its first DLC. The Pale Reach comes to enhance the Dredge experience. STORY AND GAMEPLAY In addition to a completely new frozen island in the story, The Pale Reach brings new main and optional missions, new types of fish, crafting resources and what we liked most, new achievements. At first, the DLC simply seems like an extension of what we've seen in Dredge previously, we look for common and rare fish, doing missions that are very simple around the map, there isn't, for example, a gadget or a new type of fishing in the game, they're the same . As usual in the game, we provoke a type of aggressive creature to help us move across the map by completing some missions that involve the creature. At the end of the game we also find a type of creature with four eyes that surrounds a frozen crew that we have to free. But overall, the game doesn't have that much advancement, or things that really have a real impact on the gameplay in a way that could really make a difference and have this DLC recommended. TRAILER OFFICIAL CONCLUSION It's even a little funny that a game as good, as complete as Dredge receives DLC that simply adds things that don't make a real difference to the game, saying does this mean that the game's DLC is bad? no! She is good ! but it is far from having come close to the creativity of the original game, which gives the impression that if this DLC were included in the game it would be better than leaving it aside, not extending our original gameplay in a very positive way. • Review: Bem Feito

What if someone found a game that was lost over time and made it available to everyone? What if, perhaps, he was lost for some obscure reason? This is what we will see in Bem Feito. THE GAME Bem Feito is a mystery and horror game developed by oiCabie and distributed by QUByte Interactive. Thanks to an emulator, we have access to the game Bem Feito, originally released for a portable console called Jogaroto. In the game in question, we control Reginaldo, a friendly little boy who lives on planet B-613. His goal is to complete his daily tasks and meet new friends, but some things seem strange. It's up to you to discover the mysteries that surround the game Bem Feito. Remember: your choices make a difference. MY IMPRESSIONS Do you know the term creepypasta? Those internet horror stories involving real facts and popular imagination to create scary theories and tales. So, Well Done is basically a playable creepypasta. The story itself told in the game files gives a reason for no one to remember this game, which never really existed, which ends up being a good idea on the part of the developer. In fact, the story behind the fictional game is well developed and full of mysterious facts, unlike Bem Feito itself, which is very simple. Because it is made and distributed by Brazilians, the game is in Portuguese-Brazil, which is great for understanding the game's history and some terms make more sense to us, such as Jogaroto and AmiGo, alluding to the Gameboy and Amiibo, respectively. Without saying much about the game, which is actually quite short, you live the days of little Reginaldo and make your choices, which will have an impact at the end of the game. I don't know how to say this without ruining the surprise, but things could get pretty bloody. All the suspense that the game goes through when reaching the endings or exploring the archives is good, but it could be better. I wish it had more bizarreness, more terror and more hidden secrets. It seemed very basic to me. I liked the art and the soundtrack, combining cute things with a dark background makes everything more tense and terrifying, as you never know what could happen. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements of Bem Feito are quite simple. Complete the game by doing both possible endings and you will have already completed most of the achievements. Also, when you complete some of them, you will receive four numbers, which are the passwords to open the files in the folders. Finally, some specific actions are required for the remaining achievements, nothing too complicated. A very calm game for achievement hunters. CONCLUSION I like the idea of the game being a playable creepypasta, but I wish it had more content. More secrets, more endings, more ways to interact with things. The game has a lot of suspense and horror elements, especially in the files and photos that you discover, but it would be much more interesting to have more of this feature, even as it is a short game, this would add more charm. Like any good Brazilian game, I recommend you play it, because, as the name of the game says, it is well done. And made with care, which is most important. A game that makes you suspicious at all times, it almost bothers you, but in a good way for what it proposes. And it also poses some interesting moral dilemmas. A great way to test your sanity. • Review: Typecast

Can you whistle and suck sugarcane? Well, I hope you're good at doing two tasks at the same time, because you'll need it in Typecast. THE GAME Typecast is a bulletstorm game developed and distributed by Gutter Arcade and Official Electric. You are surrounded by enemies with letters on their heads, what will you do? To type! That's right, to beat your opponents in this game you'll need to press the buttons indicated above them, while your screen becomes increasingly full of enemies. However, that's not all, while you defeat enemies, you'll have to dodge them and their projectiles as well. Defeat as many enemies as you can, make combos and use your powers to reach the top of the rankings. MY IMPRESSIONS My first impression when I saw this game was that it would be an action roguelike and I immediately got excited. However, when I played the first few minutes, I realized that I had been completely mistaken. Do you know all the explanation I gave previously about what the game is like? Well, that's just it. As you advance, new enemies appear with different patterns and that's it. You still have a few more things, like collecting the letters that spell FEVER to help you or using bombs and slow motion, but the game ends there. Is this a bad thing? Not necessarily. In this case, I was the one who set expectations that did not match what was shown. Does this mean we can eliminate the blame game? Neither did I, since I wasn't very excited. The game is not in Portuguese-Brazil, but that has little impact. I feel like if there were power ups to improve your run it would be much more interesting. Something that would make you want to play more often and try new methods of playing. Putting a ranking in the game isn't exciting at all. There are few people who will want to break records. This is one of the worst ways to encourage players. And even the way the game is now, it feels empty. Something seems to be missing. Collecting the jewels seems pointless to me, even though I know what they are for. At least the game also has achievements, which may excite some players. ACHIEVEMENTS As I said before, we have achievements to cheer you up or give you some goals. In this case, most of them are specific to some action in the game, be it defeating several enemies with a single key or reaching a certain number in your score. Basically, if you want 100% you will have to play a lot and get very good at the game, thus facilitating your journey in completing all the achievements. CONCLUSION I know that most of the reason I wasn't excited about the game was my fault, but it doesn't present anything that excites you in its premise. There are many typing games that do the job of being challenging, but with purpose. Unfortunately, rankings don't cheer anyone up. I couldn't get excited and play more than two games at a time, so I quickly left the game. I know the game isn't bad, but that feeling of "is that it?" left me discouraged. SCORE: 5.0/10

  • Review: Three Minutes To Eight

If Groundhog Day took place in a dystopian future, it would be like Three Minutes To Eight. THE GAME Three Minutes To Eight is a point and click puzzle game developed by Chaosmonger Studio and distributed by Assemble Entertainment. In the distant future, we follow the story of the nameless protagonist, who wakes up unconscious in his apartment while his intercom rings incessantly. While trying to understand what is happening, at 7:57 pm on the clock, he dies. However, he is soon back in his apartment, as if nothing had happened. And, at 7:57 pm, again, he dies. And the cycle continues, always dying at the same time and in different ways. Thus, our protagonist has a short time to explore everything and find out what is happening. MY IMPRESSIONS The premise of the game is simple. You have a short period of time to explore the map and discover some ways to reach one of the proposed endings. I would have liked the idea if it wasn't so random. Many endings have no connection with each other, some being completely meaningless. I couldn't feel empathy with the protagonist, much less care about whatever purpose he had, because it's all so random. If it were a more on-center story that had ramifications as it progressed, it would be great. The game is in Portuguese-Brazil, which is very helpful in understanding what to do or where to go. Another thing that really bothered me was the amount of useless and/or repetitive elements. You have a button that shows you literally everything you can interact with in the scenario, but half of them (maybe even more) are completely disposable, don't give you relevant information or even tell you any story. Furthermore, there are events that always happen, regardless of what you do, that slow you down and start to get annoying after a certain time, like, for example, when you enter your apartment and your girlfriend appears. An animation occurs, a dialogue, a selection of responses opens, she responds and another animation happens. Yes, there are endings that need this event, but when they don't, it's a pain. You just want to keep going, but you're stopped by this moment. I feel like the game tries to be more ambitious than it manages to execute. Although the game's art is beautiful and the voice acting helps to ambience and bring the characters to life, this randomness makes everything in vain. Some characters may or may not appear in each loop, which is a very annoying way to keep the player in the game. It had the potential to be something very unique, but it lost its ambition. ACHIEVEMENTS Basically, by completing all possible endings, you will get an achievement related to them. Additionally, there are achievements about how many time loops you've had, but you'll normally get this achievement by trying to discover all the endings. There's not much of a secret here, 100% comes easily if you finish the game in every way possible. CONCLUSION Unfortunately, the game lost me in many ways. As I said, it should be more contained so that you have some attachment to some aspect of the game, be it the story or the characters. I felt that Three Minutes To Eight tried to be a 2D The Stanley Parable, with endings outside the box, with moral and even comical dilemmas. And when you've played this classic, hardly anyone comes close to doing it so well. Because Three Minutes To Eight doesn't have a fixed story and a real ending, it seems all about a multiverse, since many endings don't talk to each other and even contradict each other at times. I wish I had liked the game more, but, for me, it is very inconsistent and stuck, both in gameplay and in story. If the game creator's idea was that, that's fine, but I didn't like it. Even though you can take items from one loop to another, avoiding redoing several processes, many dialogues are repetitive and tiring. The general idea has a lot of potential, but it wasn't executed well. If it's better polished, it might be more interesting. Even so, I know that the game's creator tried hard, so I value his work, even if I didn't like it in some aspects. SCORE: 6.0/10

  • Review: The Invincible

Uncovering something related to the sci-fi genre is always a great mystery, since the options available for this genre are quite varied. The Invincible is an adaptation of the novel by the Polish author of Solaris, Stanisław Lem. The project, developed by Starward Industries, is the company's first project, which was created with experienced developers who worked on AAA games, such as The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077 and Dead Island. The Game is distributed by 11 bit studios. The game is available for: Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. STORY The Invincible is a game with an interesting and mysterious story. We are constantly intrigued by what is happening in that universe and what mystery surrounds the planet we are exploring. Astrobiologist Yasna has the mission to rescue the crew of the Dragonfly, under the command of our astrogater, Novik, with whom she has incredible dialogues with reflections on morality, depending on your choices throughout the narrative. We start the game with a loss of memory that we recover over time. As we unravel the mysteries of what happens to that planet, we will see flashbacks that took us to the initial moment of our participation in the Dragonfly mission. RESOURCES As it is a narrative game without many mechanics, The Invincible needed to maintain its technical aspects well and graphically the game is well above average. Unreal Engine 5 features magnificent reflections, extremely well done shading and scenes worthy of a science fiction film. The game's audio is good, but it's important to play with subtitles turned on because some things might be missed if we didn't use them. All very cool, all very good, but The Invincible has some annoying technical problems that may make you have to restart the game. The audio can be corrupted in such a way that character voices do not come out and, sometimes, events may not happen. It is very likely that there will be patches that resolve these issues later. ACHIEVEMENTS I would like to emphasize that, despite being easy, the achievements in The Invincible are quite frustrating, as we always emphasize here on the portal. If companies could listen more to completionists to improve the development of game achievements, they would certainly be played more. In the case of The Invincible, the problems are achievements that are missable and others that force you to play the game several times in different ways. We are extremely critical of this type of achievement and believe that it should be abolished from games, as these are achievements that are part of a past era of gaming. OFFICIAL TRAILER RESUME The Invincible is an interesting game with a mysterious story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. Despite looking like a Walking simulator, the game is really cool and makes us feel like we're on a living planet, in a future similar to what we imagine. I didn't know Stanisław Lem's book, but from the juice that the game gives us, we can imagine how incredible it is. The false impression of exploration of the world is somewhat sad at the moment, since we practically have a path to follow, without the possibility of changing or making different decisions regarding exploration. Choosing a narrative game of take this or do that is a shame, as you can imagine big things related to this world and its characters. Review by Gamertag: Scoulz SCORE: 70/100

  • Review: This Bed We Made

After playing This Bed We Made, you will never be at peace again when staying in a hotel. THE GAME This Bed We Made is a mystery and investigation game developed and distributed by Lowbirth Games. In a 1950s hotel, we meet Sophie, our protagonist and curious chambermaid, who loves looking through guests' belongings. One day, upon entering one of the rooms, Sophie comes across a makeshift darkroom in the bathroom and, to her surprise, several photos of her as she goes through customers' items. Scared, she tries to understand what is happening and, unintentionally, becomes involved in a bigger plot than she imagined. Now, our dear maid activates her detective mode to find out what's going on. As she is already used to snooping around rooms, Sophie goes in search of answers to many mysteries. MY IMPRESSIONS Investigation games need to be well done to keep the audience entertained with the story. This Bed We Made manages to keep your attention, so much so that you'll find the game short when you realize you're finishing the journey. However, I feel that even when the story reaches its climax, it is not as impactful as it should be. All the investigation before that is cool, with really interesting puzzles and nothing complicated, but full of texts. In fact, the game is not in Portuguese-Brazil, which may alienate non-English speakers, as it is extremely necessary to understand the story in order not to lose the experience. The choices made change some directions, but in practice, they do not influence the course of the game. It will make a difference in the different endings you can do, which also didn't move me. No matter what the ending I completed, it had no impact on me. I think it's cool that your actions or lack thereof cause aspects to change, but in the end, I think it was misused to close the story. I liked the atmosphere that was created right at the beginning of the game, an aura that, at any moment, someone would appear and catch Sophie in the act. However, as time passes, you soon realize that there is no threat there, which takes some of the burden off the secret investigation. The characters have a good personality and are well acted by their voice actors, which makes everything more real and less generic. Despite being really short, the game has a replay factor so you can make new choices and actions and see their results. ACHIEVEMENTS Like any game where choices are involved, you will have many achievements related to them. In other words, if you choose one path and unlock an achievement, you will have to do the other later to acquire the other achievement. There are also achievements for specific actions and achievements for each ending of the story. In general, you can get more than half of them once you finish the game, but you will have to start over making different choices to be able to complete 100% of the game. CONCLUSION I love investigation games and This Bed We Made is competent at what it sets out to do. I expected more from the story and its climax, but it's still a good story with good characters. The fact that the game is short isn't a bad thing, as we can be more direct and it doesn't make the player tired with lots of texts just to lengthen the game. I just wish This Bed We Made created more danger, because there comes a time when you are simply going through all the rooms in the hotel without even having any threat, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. I hope to see more games like this, as it is interesting and rewarding to get involved in investigations. The characters are not generic, making them come to life, as if they were real people. As much as I felt there was a lack of extra spice, I recommend you play This Bed We Made and awaken your curious sides. SCORE: 7.5/10

  • Review: Arcade Paradise

For all those who didn't have the chance to experience the arcade era, embark on this world in Arcade Paradise. THE GAME Arcade Paradise is a management and arcade game developed by Nosebleed Interactive and distributed by Wired Productions. Ashley is assigned by her father, Gerald, to take care of the laundromat called King Wash. While taking care of the establishment, Ashley finds some old arcade machines in the back of the laundromat and sees a great opportunity to make money. And so begins the journey of our protagonist, who slowly transforms the laundry room into a large space full of games, without her father knowing what she is doing. Of course, while you're working hard on the washing machines, you'll always find some time to play the arcade machines, beat records and complete challenges, all to get more money and, consequently, more machines. MY IMPRESSIONS The game hooked me from the beginning due to the premise of having arcade machines to play. Ever since I was little, I've always loved playing on these machines, so I felt really nostalgic for those times. I must warn you that the beginning of the game may be a shock for those who expected to jump into the arcade idea. It will take a while before you can focus 100% on the machines and abandon the laundry. At first, taking care of the laundry isn't all bad, but over time, it becomes more and more annoying to have to abandon the games to take care of the clothes. There is an alternative to this, which is to use a code in the game menu that makes your life easier. If you think this is cheating, good luck with the dirty laundry. The game's story is a great backdrop, with a really cool theme: do what you like. All that family pressure, comparisons and the like are worthless, they just make us feel bad. Ashley does everything she can to follow her dreams and do what makes her happy, even if her father doesn't recognize it. In fact, a curiosity: the voice actor for Ashley's father, Gerald, is the same voice actor for Geralt, from the game The Witcher. The game is in Portuguese-Brazil, which is great for understanding the game's story and instructions. Arcade machine games are as varied as possible. Many are reimagined classics, others are completely original games. Inevitably, you will like some more than others, whether due to the style of play or the difficulty. The visual style of the game is very beautiful and retro, which gives it a 90s atmosphere. It's a very fun game without many complications. Managing the laundry room and arcade is not difficult or complex. When you can let go of the laundry, the time will pass very quickly while you have fun on the arcade machines. After finishing the main story, the challenge is to complete all the game's objectives, which will take a lot of time, but will give you that feeling of beating the arcade machine's record, just like in the old days. ACHIEVEMENTS Achievements will require you to be good at many game styles. Apart from achievements related to the history and management of the establishment, the vast majority are related to games, such as getting all the improvements in a game or simply finishing them. Some will demand more of you than others, but overall, you'll just have to play until you succeed. Over time, you get the hang of it. Therefore, achieving 100% of the achievements in Arcade Paradise will require a lot of time. CONCLUSION Arcade Paradise is a great choice for anyone who wants a game with progression at a good pace and lots of varied fun. As there are several arcade machines, some of them will capture your attention, to the point that you want to beat your record. Even with a slower start, the game keeps you steady in your quest to increase your space for arcade machines. It's a game that's really worth it, even after beating it, as you can enter just to play the machine games. Also, there are DLCs that add new games, so you can have more challenges. I liked the story that is told and the way you progress, I highly recommend playing and enjoying it, as arcades deserve this honor. SCORE: 8.0/10

  • Review: House Flipper - Farm DLC

Life in the countryside is hard work, but it has its charm, as we can see in this DLC. THE GAME House Flipper - Farm DLC is a renovation simulation game developed by Frozen Way and Empyrean and distributed by Frozen Way, Frozen District and PlayWay S.A. The base game simulates renovations, buying and selling properties, in short. In its Farm DLC, the focus is on country life and activities, such as caring for crops. In addition, we can buy farm animals, such as chickens and horses, so the experience of farm life is complete. MY IMPRESSIONS As with all House Flipper DLCs, many new items have been added, bringing new decoration possibilities, most of which are inspired by country life. Additionally, new equipment is introduced to help with your renovation journey. Well, at least they should be useful equipment, but in fact, many of them are expendable, like the hoe, for example, and others are exaggerated, like the climbing hook. Like the base game, this DLC is in Portuguese-Brazil. I confess that I thought the DLC content goes in a direction very far from what the game really is. You are directed towards activity like planting and harvesting, taking care of animals and, well, is this a renovation game or a farm simulator? Because, at the end of the day, these things are useless for the game itself. You can even sell products from your farm, but the money you generate is meager compared to the rest of the game's normal activities. I don't see a player who was attracted to the game for renovations and construction stop doing that to take care of a farm. Acquiring and interacting with farm animals is interesting and fun. It may sound contradictory to what I said in the Pets DLC review (which you can read here) about how animals bring some life to the game, as you barely see any living things during the course of the game, except for cockroaches, but in the case of the Farm DLC, it's overdone and unnecessary. I think they got too carried away with the content and ended up diverting a lot from the focus of the game. ACHIEVEMENTS The DLC adds achievements to the base game, just like all other House Flipper DLCs. Therefore, keep in mind that to complete House Flipper 100%, you will have to purchase all DLCs. Since we're only talking about the Farm DLC, I'll just limit myself to it. In that case, get ready to become a farmer, as some achievements require you to farm, collect eggs, jump a horse over an obstacle and so on. Furthermore, using the new tools is also necessary for achievements. Some others require specific actions, however, nothing too difficult. Finally, finish all work on the new maps. So, you will probably be able to complete all the achievements in this DLC. CONCLUSION The DLC isn't all bad, however, I think that of everything that was added, few things are saved as necessary. I don't understand the reason for adding the farm simulator factor to the game. And it seems so neglected, because in the new works added, you don't even use or are introduced to the new concept, which in my opinion reinforces that it's something that shouldn't be there. However, as it is, I still think it is exaggerated and underutilized. I like it when useful or interesting things are added, but in this case, it went a little overboard. Even if you want to build a farm with everything you need, it seems like too much work in a game where that's not the focus. I would like all the added elements to be better utilized and consistent with the game's proposal. SCORE: 6.0/10

  • Review: Sweet Dreams Alex

We don't even have peace of mind when we sleep and we are tormented by nightmares, but we can avoid them in Sweet Dreams Alex. THE GAME Sweet Dreams Alex is a puzzle game developed by Clarity Games and distributed by Kasedo Games. Alex is still a child and dreams a lot. It is our duty as dream builders, as the game calls it, to keep the nightmares away from Alex until the day dawns. To do this, we must build obstacles and make it difficult for the nightmares to reach the little girl, so that she can have a peaceful night's sleep. MY IMPRESSIONS Puzzle games always make you rack your brains to solve them and, therefore, they must have a good learning curve so that the player doesn't give up. In Sweet Dreams Alex, each world has its own mechanics and makes good use of that learning curve, teaching each aspect of that world. However, make no mistake: it is an extremely challenging game. At various times I spent a lot of time thinking, trying and making mistakes, until I managed to pass the stage. His art is very playful, which represents what a child's mind would be like. Each world has a unique theme and its own mechanics, bringing something new every time you progress through the game. Unfortunately, the game is not in Portuguese-Brazil, which can make it difficult to understand some mechanics that are explained by the game in text form. You can even create levels and share them with other players to challenge them. It's a very satisfying game when you get the level right, but it can be extremely frustrating if you don't have the patience to try to solve the level several times. It's a relatively long game for that reason. Even if you get it right the first time, many stages require the positioning of different elements, which extends the duration of the game, along with its large number of stages. It's a game to be enjoyed little by little. ACHIEVEMENTS Sweet Dreams Alex achievements are basically earned just by completing all stages, extra stages and collecting all dreams during the game. Additionally, we have achievements related to level creation and diaries that are spread across some maps. It's not a difficult game to achieve 100% of the achievements, but it is difficult because the game itself is challenging. CONCLUSION If you're looking for a challenge, you've found it. Sweet Dreams Alex offers a good level of difficulty along with simple gameplay and easy-to-understand mechanics. Neither mechanic overpowers the other and does not bloat the game in a way that confuses the player. As I said before, I only recommend playing it in small doses as it can become tiring and frustrating. Despite having already seen this idea of preventing danger from reaching the objective, Sweet Dreams Alex executes it very well and in a pleasant way. It's a game that requires a lot of patience and a lot of trial and error. The fact that it has many levels is good and bad, as it gives you more of the game to enjoy, but it can become very tiring. I recommend challenging yourself. SCORE: 7.0/10

  • Review: House Flipper - Pets DLC

If your dream has always been to have a house full of pets, this DLC will make your dreams come true. THE GAME House Flipper - Pets DLC is a renovation simulation game developed by Frozen Way and Empyrean and distributed by Frozen Way, Frozen District and PlayWay S.A. The base game simulates renovations, buying and selling properties, in short. In its Pets DLC, the focus is on pets and how to accommodate them in your homes. Furthermore, we can adopt the most diverse species of animals, from the most conventional ones such as dogs and cats to more exotic ones such as iguanas and spiders. MY IMPRESSIONS House Flipper is already a very relaxing game to play, with the addition of pets, it gives the game a much more lively and cute feel. With new quests and properties, you discover this new world of items for your pets, from toys to huge vivariums. The variety of animals for adoption is great and makes you want to adopt them all. In addition to naming them, you can put little hats on them, which makes everything even cuter. Like the base game, this DLC is in Portuguese-Brazil. Although it is not a DLC that changes the way of playing too much, compared to the other House Flipper DLCs, it is the most fun and brings the most cool things to the game. Just being able to interact with the animals, such as petting them, bathing them and even taking them to work, is a significant change from what we normally have in the game. ACHIEVEMENTS The DLC adds achievements to the base game, just like all other House Flipper DLCs. Therefore, keep in mind that to complete House Flipper 100%, you will have to purchase all DLCs. Since we're only talking about the Pets DLC, I'll just limit myself to it. The achievements are not difficult, as most of them are linked to the new DLC maps. Complete all the tasks, adopt various animals, play and take care of them, this way you will unlock all the achievements in this DLC. CONCLUSION I hadn't played House Flipper in a while and this DLC managed to surprise me positively. Even though I didn't like the other DLCs as much, this one did the job that a DLC should do: adding fun and new things. It's really cool to adopt animals, create a little corner just for them and take care of them. Even though they are virtual, the animals were well programmed and are very cute. I thought it was a very interesting idea and it gives life to the game which, in general, doesn't have a living soul out there. It's always just you and the house. At least now, you have your partner and you can always play with him in your free time. It's a very fun and worthwhile DLC. SCORE: 8.0/10

  • Review: Hidden Through Time 2 Myths & Magic

Travel through different moments in time where myths and magic tell their story as you search for different lost items in Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic. THE GAME Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic is a hidden object game developed and distributed by Rogueside. The continuation of the fun Hidden Through Time brings us the theme of myths and magic through different moments in history, whether in more current times with students or with medieval battles between humans and goblins. Find all the objects, people and animals so the story can continue. MY IMPRESSIONS I had already had a lot of fun in the first game, so I already knew what to expect. A light and lively game, which, at times, makes you go crazy for not finding a measly item the size of a needle. Still, it is very satisfying to find the goals. The game is in Portuguese-Brazil, which helps when getting the tips for each object. The art style is still very happy and funny. I confess that I missed something different from the first. Even though the mechanics of two different climates were implemented on each map so that some objects can be found exclusively on each one, I thought this was not a great addition to the game. Furthermore, the implementation of special items that unlock a final map is interesting, but not very inspiring. After all, after finding everyone, the map that is released is very easy, which doesn't seem to be that rewarding. Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, as a sequel, brings more of the same, albeit with changes, but these new additions make little difference. Maybe in the future they will implement more phases, because I felt that the game is short. If it follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, we can expect DLCs. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements are very simple: find all the objects in all the stages, including the special objects that unlock an extra stage. To complete, create levels, play and evaluate other players' levels. Without much secret, simple and easy to achieve 100% of the achievements. CONCLUSION As I have a lot of fun with this style of game of looking for things on extremely chaotic maps, I loved playing Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, but I was disappointed with the new additions, as they had little impact on the game. I dare say that if it were a DLC for the first one, no one would even notice. However, this fact doesn't ruin the game, it just disappoints if you're expecting something very different. If you liked the first game in the series, played all the DLCs and still want more, Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic is there to welcome those who want to look for more things out there. Simple and relaxing fun, without pressure and will be a great pastime. SCORE: 7.0/10
