  • Review: No Rest For The Wicked

Fight the Pestilence and rid the lands of darkness so the kingdom may prosper. THE GAME No Rest For The Wicked is an action RPG developed by Moon Studios and published by Private Division . In the year 841, the king is dead and his son, Magnus, becomes the new king. Arrogant and inexperienced, the new king is strongly influenced by Madrigal Seline, leader of the church, who is very interested in the cursed plague called Pestilence , which has not ravaged the world for a thousand years, hoping that God will look favorably on him when he faces the plague. Our protagonist, a sacred warrior from a group called Cerim , is sent to Insula Sacra, where he must fight the Pestilence while getting involved in the dilemmas of the people and political battles that make his journey more challenging. MY IMPRESSIONS No Rest For The Wicked is one of those games that are difficult to master , requiring a lot of skill and reflexes to attack and defend at the right time, with limited resources. It's the typical game where you'll have to be very resilient and patient if you want to make the most of it. In my case, I haven't been able to time my parry so far, mostly because of my ability to not realize the exact moment to execute the defense, but also because of some other issues, such as the game's camera, which can be annoying and disruptive at key moments. Perhaps because of the genre, I didn't like the combat, although it has Souls-like elements, combining this with an aerial camera didn't convince me, much less excite me. The game has a unique artistic style , with the characters represented by their own style that, in a way, reflects the dark and sad atmosphere that we find throughout the story. And speaking of the environment, it's very detailed, all the elements react to the game's climate, whether it's when a wind blows or rain starts to fall. The game is in Brazilian Portuguese , which makes it easier to understand some mechanics and follow the story that is presented to us. We have a very interesting narrative, placing our protagonist in the middle of the eye of the storm while trying to solve several issues in the region. In the city, it is possible to buy property, decorate it as you please and improve the city itself, unlocking advantages, such as access to new stores, for example. However, what can be discouraging is the grind that the game will require of you. Both for resources and for creating items, you will have to repeat many processes to advance, without there being much variation in the map, since even in the earliest areas, after you level up, new enemies appear there, requiring you to revisit locations. For all the points mentioned, No Rest For The Wicked may put off some unsuspecting players, who want something more dynamic. ACHIEVEMENTS Unfortunately, the game does not have achievements at the moment . Since it is in early access, I believe that achievements will be added in the future, as the game has features that would fit very well as challenges and, consequently, achievements. CONCLUSION I wish I had liked No Rest For The Wicked more. The setting and story are exciting , but the gameplay and the need to grind balance the equation. Even though it is in early access and may still change a few things or two, I believe its core will not change. Let it be clear that this is something that does not suit my tastes and does not mean that the game is bad. There are games that are just not our style and that is okay. We should always test and have our own experiences with any medium. And yet, we can also see value in things we do not like , because not liking something does not automatically mean that you hate it. As soon as No Rest For The Wicked leaves early access, I will give it a second chance, because I want to see how much the game has evolved. SCORE: 7.0/10

  • Review: Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Kena: Bridge of Spirits  is an action-adventure game that tells the story of a spirit guide on a quest for the sacred Mountain Temple. GAMEPLAY / VISUAL Take a deep breath, because Kena  is one of the most stunning games I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It feels like watching a Disney 3D animation from the early 2000s. The attention to visual detail is extraordinary, whether in the lush vegetation, meticulously crafted environments, or the character animations. The cutscenes and animations, in particular, are breathtaking; if you haven't played Kena  yet, prepare yourself for a visually impactful experience like no other. As Kena, our mission is to free spirits and cleanse areas corrupted by malevolent forces. The combat is engaging, becoming even more satisfying as we unlock new abilities. However, the game does falter in some basic aspects, such as the targeting system, which could be more precise. Exploration is enjoyable, but the puzzles, while present, are fairly simple and don’t require much thought. ACHIEVEMENTS Kena's  achievements are generally satisfying, but there's a frustrating aspect: the game has several missable achievements. In a title with a linear narrative, this is hard to accept, as failing to save manually at certain points can lead to missing out on combat-related achievements. TRAILER OFFICIAL CONCLUSÃO Kena: Bridge of Spirits  is solid enough to potentially spawn a franchise. Over the years, many games have explored the spiritual world, but Kena  stands out as one of the best. The protagonist's journey is compelling, and the game shines in many aspects, especially in its animations and graphics. What Kena  lacks is more refined combat; some mechanics could be improved. Despite this, Kena  is an excellent experience from start to finish, both for those interested in the theme and for those simply looking to enjoy a good single-player game. • Review: Frogue

Frogue  is a Brazilian turn-based platformer with roguelike elements that combines time manipulation, sword combat, and bullet-hell mechanics. It shares similarities with the Brazilian game Dandara , offering a challenging and strategic experience where every move and decision can determine success or failure. GAMEPLAY / VISUAL Initially, we take on the role of a sword-wielding frog, facing various enemies in procedurally generated environments on a map reminiscent of classics like Binding of Isaac . Frogue 's gameplay is quite unique: although it's turn-based, the game rewards agility in movements. However, these movements aren't very precise, especially when using the analog stick, which can be frustrating. Frogue  has a well-calibrated difficulty curve that scales gradually throughout the game. Although enemy variety in the environments is limited, those that do feature some diversity are well-designed. During runs, we collect upgrades that later become available at the start of new attempts. Our main weapon is the sword, which can be thrown or used to pierce through enemies. Additionally, we have the ability to freeze time, bullets, and practically everything around us, adding an interesting strategic layer. The gameplay, while very enjoyable, suffers from a lack of precision in controls. It's almost inevitable that, at some point during a run, a wrong move will occur, and in Frogue , that can be fatal. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements in Frogue  are one of the game's highlights. They are balanced and well-designed, offering challenges that are not impossible but encourage exploration of different aspects of the game. Each segment has its own set of achievements, showing the team's care in diversifying rewards. This is commendable, especially considering the number of mistakes we see in this area in so many renowned titles in the industry. TRAILER OFFICIAL CONCLUSÃO Frogue  is a clear example of a good Brazilian game. Despite some technical inconsistencies, the team's effort to create a fun and engaging experience is evident. For those who enjoyed Dandara , Frogue  certainly has its appeal. However, the game seems to be limited to that comparison, without bringing innovations that elevate it beyond. Perhaps introducing different choices in the turn-based mechanics could have enriched the gameplay. Even so, Frogue  stands out for its charm and unique gameplay. • Review: Caravan SandWitch

Hop in your van and get ready to travel and explore in the SandWitch Caravan. THE GAME Caravan SandWitch is an adventure and exploration game developed by Studio Plane Toast and published by Dear Villagers . After receiving an emergency and automatic message from her sister, our protagonist Sauge drops everything she was doing to answer the call. To do so, Sauge returns to her home planet, Cigalo . There, she meets up with locals and friends, searching for information about her sister's whereabouts. In a mix of comfort at seeing Sauge again and questioning why she left Cigalo, everyone welcomes her. It is at this moment that she gains access to her means of transportation and traveling companion: a van . Equipped with a means of transportation and friends, Sauge sets out to search for her sister, while revisiting her family, friends and planet, helping everyone who asks her for help. MY IMPRESSIONS No enemies, no battles. Caravan SandWitch doesn't have these elements , which already makes it stand out. It would be very easy to add fights to the game, but that's not what it's about. Here, the focus is on the journey, relationships, social and environmental issues. It's a light game among so many frenetic games, where you'll find some simple puzzles and a lot of exploration. The game is in Brazilian Portuguese , which is great for following the game's story and understanding the relationships between the characters. An interesting point that should be mentioned is that some characters are addressed by the neutral pronoun . There are many people who will find this bad and give up on the game because of it, which is totally foolish on their part, not to mention something heavier. I confess that at first I didn't understand some things when I read the dialogues, but when I realized it, I found it interesting. I don't have contact with many people who use neutral pronouns and that's why it seemed strange to me at first, but I liked that this element is in the game, because it makes us get in touch with it, so that it becomes increasingly natural in everyday life. Caravan SandWitch is about diversity and inclusion , so it's only fair that we have these elements that don't interfere with the gameplay at all. The game's art is very beautiful , with a very pleasant color palette that goes very well with the gameplay style, which is also very simple and easy to understand . The soundtrack is incredible , with a lot of personality, always providing excellent soundtrack for your adventure. Exploration is very exciting , and you'll always feel like you can go anywhere you can see. The van is crucial for this, transporting you over long distances and gaining improvements that will allow Sauge to access places she wouldn't be able to on her own. In short, the game's lightness is noticeable in all its aspects. ACHIEVEMENTS Like any good exploration game, achievements will make you explore. A lot! From accessing specific places to jumping off ramps with the van, you'll have plenty of time to explore and you'll end up completing some achievements naturally, since you'll be walking around the environment a lot. In addition, we have some specific achievements, which are really fun, such as scoring a goal. In fact, I did this achievement without any intention, I just kicked a ball into a goal and was happy when the achievement appeared. I always score goals in games that allow this, always hoping for an achievement like this and I was happy that it finally happened. And of course, we have achievements related to the main story and side missions. They are easy achievements to do , which makes the game enjoyable to do 100% of the achievements. CONCLUSION I really like it when a game does something different from the norm. If you first look at Caravan SandWitch, you immediately think that at any moment, there will be enemies to be defeated. This change in expectation is great , because it goes a little off the rails of a standard game. A game doesn't always have to be about physical battles. Here, we have many issues that can be debated, accompanied by solitary moments of exploration, but that give you a wonderful lightness while listening to a beautiful soundtrack. I've been looking for more calm games, but that aren't basic, let's say. In Caravan SandWitch, I found a comfortable game, which I played every time, a little every day, before going to sleep. And comfort is the word that best describes how you feel when playing. Besides, I'm addicted to exploring maps to find hidden things, so this game is very rewarding for me. If you're looking for a game made with a lot of love and that will relax you, Caravan SandWitch should be your next game. SCORE: 8.5/10

  • Review: Core Keeper

Core Keeper is a deeply engaging exploration and adventure game. In it, we are transported to a vast cave filled with mysteries and grotesque creatures, and our only option is to explore this unknown world. GAMEPLAY / VISUAL Core Keeper offers classic gameplay for those who enjoy constant progression and mining. We start with a simple pickaxe and, as we progress, we evolve to mining gigantic objects with the help of automated drills. For fans of this type of progression, Core Keeper is a delight – I personally love this style of game and would like to see more titles as well made as this one. At first, the experience resembles playing Terraria in an isometric view, which completely won me over. The vast world of Core Keeper has a gradually well-adjusted difficulty, and the combat is balanced, offering a variety of weapons and classes (which depend more on the pieces of equipment we use). We can choose to play as an archer, swordsman, melee warrior, mage, summoner, among others, depending on our creativity and the items available for the build. However, the more diverse builds, such as the summoner, suffer a certain imbalance compared to the physical damage builds, which can use very powerful weapons, such as the obliterator. Even so, at the beginning of the game, all classes are well utilized, ensuring a balanced experience for new players. There are still some points that could be improved to optimize the game system. For example, the connection between chests and distant crafting tables is limited – only the tables close to the chests use the stored resources. A system that allowed me to unify or connect chests would be very useful, especially in the late game, when I have accumulated around 30 or 40 chests and organization becomes a real nightmare. It's not that I'm the most organized person, but the game system certainly doesn't make life easier for players in this regard. ACHIEVEMENTS Core Keeper's achievements could be better explored. In general, they are extremely linear, with objectives such as "earn 100 points in mining" or "defeat such and such boss". Most achievements are directly related to the bosses, which limits the diversity of challenges proposed. The game, which is so intense and immersive, lacks a touch of creativity in its achievements. One example would be the giant shell that references "Cell" from Dragon Ball, in its perfect form. If there were an achievement linked to this reference, such as finding the shell or something similar, the experience would be even more fun for fans. Pop references, like this, could give an extra shine to the achievements and make them more memorable. In addition, there are several other missed opportunities when it comes to the creativity of the achievements. Some of the most frustrating, for example, involve searching for specific points on the map to find quest items, which can range from a quick search lasting minutes to hours of exploration. With more diversity and originality, achievements could make the journey within Core Keeper even more engaging. TRAILER OFFICIAL RESUME Core Keeper was certainly one of the most exciting games I've ever played. My journey of over 100 hours with my character was worth every minute. The feeling I had when playing Core Keeper, from start to finish, was like rediscovering Terraria, but from a new perspective and with ramifications that Terraria should have explored from the beginning. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to play in multiplayer mode, so all the discovery was solitary - which, in the end, became a true adventure. Core Keeper constantly challenges you, creating an addictive cycle of progression that makes you always want to improve. Progression in the game happens organically, in contrast to some games in the genre where you have to research in depth to know how to perform certain actions. Core Keeper finds a perfect balance, showing the way, but never overly clear, which, in my opinion, is essential in a good exploration game. The game's 2.5D perspective adds a beauty that, in my opinion, Terraria could never achieve due to its visual limitations. With the various updates and additions that the game seems to be preparing for the coming years, even after its official release, Core Keeper has everything to become a true exponent in the genres it explores. Unfortunately, to complete the entire story of Core Keeper and explore everything the game has to offer, it would take several dozen hours. I will continue the journey in search of the other achievements – simply because the game is awesome! Review by Gamertag: Scoulz SCORE: 95/100

  • Review: Mika And The Witch's Mountain

Grab your magic broom and come deliver packages to Mika And The Witch's Mountain. THE GAME Mika And The Witch's Mountain is an adventure game developed by Chibig and Nukefist and distributed by Chibig . Mika is an apprentice witch and wants to be trained by Olagari , an experienced witch who lives on top of the mountain located in the center of the island. However, Olagari, in his grumpy way, throws Mika off the top of the mountain to test her skills with the broom. Our little witch ends up falling from the top, unsuccessfully in her flight and her magic broom breaks as a result. In order to have her broom fixed, she gets a job as a delivery girl so she can return to the top of the mountain. And so begins Mika's adventure, who will learn a lot from the island's residents. MY IMPRESSIONS With a simple and cute story, Mika And The Witch's Mountain brings equally simple gameplay, but with a lot of fun and a hint of challenge. Controlling little Mika while riding her broom may seem complicated at first, but you'll soon get the hang of it. The improvements that the broom gains also make everything easier and more fluid. The objectives are basic and easy to complete. In fact, the game is very quick to finish, if you decide not to explore the entire island, which also doesn't take that long. The game is in Brazilian Portuguese , which helps you follow Mika's journey and her relationship with the villagers. The game's art is very cheerful and cartoonish , the characters are very characteristic, which makes everything almost like a cartoon. The island is not very big and is not full of details, except for a few specific points, such as the city. As mentioned before, the game is not very long , which for many is a flaw, but I don't have the same opinion. Mika And The Witch's Mountain has a great length, uses everything it has to offer and doesn't get boring. I can say with conviction that it's a game for all age groups. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements are not difficult at all, nor are they boring . Even achievements related to collectibles are easy to complete. In addition to these, we have some connected to the progression of the story and also the famous achievements related to specific actions, such as falling into a haystack or destroying the children's sandcastle. In fact, this second one deserves attention, as it can only be completed until almost the end of the game, after which you will have to restart your progress to complete it. How do I know? Well, I missed the achievement and had to do it. Finally, we have some secondary objectives, which also unlock achievements. It is quite easy to get 100% in Mika And The Witch's Mountain. CONCLUSION I never imagined I needed to play something like Mika And The Witch's Mountain. It was almost a cleansing of the soul, because I've been playing so many things and almost nothing has held my attention. Then this game came along and, with all its simplicity, captivated me. I've been playing so many complex games full of mechanics that when I played Mika And The Witch's Mountain, I could just have fun with something simple that doesn't require much skill to play . Its relatively short length, which may be a defect for many, pleased me a lot. All of these aspects mentioned show how the developers understood the game they have in hand and didn't invent things to lengthen the game or use fancy mechanics to complicate it, they made a very fun game. The most incredible thing is that, at the time of this review, Mika And The Witch's Mountain is in early access and, despite already having a closed story, it will have some added features. If they continue with the same line of thinking they've had with the game so far, everything leads me to believe that these additions will only add positives. SCORE: 8.0/10

  • Review: Creatures of AVA

"Creatures of Ava" is an action-adventure game that challenges players to embark on an urgent mission to save a planet threatened by a deadly infection. GAMEPLAY / VISUAL The visuals in Creatures of Ava  are simply breathtaking, turning every part of the environment into a spectacle of its own. Comparisons with other games in the genre are inevitable, but here the development team truly excelled. This may be one of the most well-crafted and fluid games in terms of visuals and audio. Each element has its own distinctive sound, and the use of the flute in the game is particularly memorable, leaving a lasting impression. However, I must admit that I disliked the gameplay, and this may be due to my perspective. As someone deeply connected to games like Pokémon  and, more recently, Palworld , the gameplay experience offered by Creatures of Ava  is disappointing by comparison. Although they are games with different goals, characteristics, and genres, the comparison becomes inevitable when analyzing the creatures, which are well-made but have limited uses within the game. It’s not that I expected battles or anything like that, but the gameplay in Creatures of Ava  is so superficial that, for me, the game became generic and soulless in this aspect. While the movement of the main character and the creatures is fluid, the almost exclusive focus on using the flute to charm creatures was, in my opinion, an unfortunate choice. This mechanic contributes to a sense of monotony, as we constantly need to stop to execute commands in the correct order, disrupting the flow of the game. Additionally, the NPCs lack personality and engaging dialogue, seeming to have been procedurally generated just to populate the world. At one point in the game, we are required to go from point A to point B, interacting with dozens of generic NPCs and completing missions that could have been much better crafted. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements in this game are fair but require dedication. Completing everything will take a considerable amount of time, and although this might become tiring, the monotonous gameplay may discourage you before reaching the more advanced moments of the story. TRAILER OFFICIAL RESUME To an outsider, Creatures of Ava  might seem incredible, and it's no wonder—the art direction has done an excellent job, both in animations and promotional artwork. However, don’t be deceived. If you and I, the one reading this review, had a week, two potatoes, and a soda, we could create a game with more enjoyable and creative gameplay than Creatures of Ava . This is a clear example of a game that had all the potential to be amazing but ended up being hampered by weak writing and a lack of creativity in executing its ideas. Another concern is the discrepancy between the actual gameplay experience and the positive reviews it received on Steam. Many of these reviews seem generic and uncritical, raising suspicions that a significant number of reviewers received the game for free. I recommend caution to avoid spending money based solely on these superficial reviews. Creatures of Ava  had the potential to be an extraordinary game, especially considering the undeniable talent of the technical team involved. Visually, it is one of the most stunning games I have ever seen. However, despite its beauty, the game fails to become truly engaging. It could be classified as contemplative, but the reality is that each task within the game quickly becomes tedious. The mechanic of charming creatures, which initially seems promising, soon becomes frustrating. Review by Gamertag: Scoulz SCORE: 60/100

  • Review: Arc Seed

I love giant robots! Who doesn't love giant robots? THE GAME Arc Seed is a roguelite and deckbuilder game developed and published by Massive Galaxy Studios . Aliens known as Angels are threatening the planet with an invasion. Earth's only line of defense is the mechas and their pilots , who will stop the invasion with a lot of firepower, always saving as many people as they can in the process. Choose the best mecha for your playstyle, build your arsenal of weapons and improve your robot in this endeavor to defend against the space threat. MY IMPRESSIONS I think it's worth remembering that the game is in early access , so a lot of things can be changed, improved or added later. My analysis was made with these factors in mind. The mecha theme always catches my attention, after all, giant robots are really cool. Arc Seed mixes roguelite, deck building and turn-based action, uniting all of this with very beautiful and well-made art. The idea of this combination of styles works well, even though deck building is a saturated genre lately. The whole idea of the game is simple, but it has so many elements that you don't know if you're taking advantage of everything. In combat, the city has many elements and many times I didn't understand what was happening. Even though there is an initial explanation, it is not very clear. The game is not in Brazilian Portuguese , but this is not something that gets in the way, since there are few existing texts and with little knowledge you can understand what is being said. The scenario is very vast for the little that you use of it, perhaps a reduction would make it a little more dynamic. I like the animations that appear when certain actions are taken, it's something unique that the game presents to you. Outside of combat, you can increase your mecha's stats, organize your deck by adding or removing cards, and you can also buy new cards. This part is very simple, but too simple, as if something was missing. The game's art is very beautiful , but in terms of gameplay, the current state of the game is very raw, which doesn't mean that's bad. Arc Seed has a cool proposition and tries to escape the cliché, adding some elements that differentiate it from other roguelites. ACHIEVEMENTS As of this writing, the game has no achievements . However, since it is in early access, I imagine that some achievements may be added in the future, which is what usually happens. I hope they add them, because it creates an additional incentive for players. CONCLUSION Considering that the game is in early access, it is on a very good path, with a solid foundation. The art part is sensational , so they can focus on gameplay improvements without any problems. Within the game itself, we can see some features that are not yet available, but this shows that we can expect more features in the future. I don't know if this will make things easier or more complex, but it is undeniable that Arc Seed has a lot of room to evolve and improve . Ever since I first saw the game, I was very interested, so I will continue following to see where the developers will go with this beautiful game. SCORE: 7.0/10

  • Review: The Star Named EOS

Every photo has a story. What’s behind the lens in The Star Named EOS? THE GAME The Star Named EOS is a point and click and puzzle game developed by Silver Lining Studio and distributed by PLAYISM . In control of Dei, a young photographer, we experience a little bit of his life. Dei's mother, who is traveling, sends letters and photographs so that her son can retrace her steps and try to reproduce the photos sent. With that, our young photographer embarks on a journey visiting every corner his mother has been to, guided by her photos. What will Dei discover on this journey? MY IMPRESSIONS From the same developers as Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery, The Star Named EOS follows the same idea as the previously mentioned title. You navigate through a scenario with a 360º view and interact with objects in order to solve puzzles and advance in the story. It's a very simple game, but it wins you over with its narrative. Unfortunately, the game is not in Brazilian Portuguese , which may put some players off, because what captivates you in this game is precisely the story and, if you don't understand English, this may put you off playing. Some parts of the game have voice acting, which gives you the exact emotion of what is happening, dictating the atmosphere of the game that, in many cases, will give you goosebumps. The art is so beautiful . Since Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery, what stands out most in games by Silver Lining Studio is the art, which is captivating and cozy . Having a camera as the central tool encourages you to take photos of all the scenarios, since they are so beautiful. I can't go into too much detail about the plot and story because the game is short and that would ruin the whole experience. In fact, many will think that the short length is a flaw, but games in this style generally don't last too long, I think because of the detail in the art and animation and the way it is placed throughout the game. Still, it's a game to be admired for its effort and beauty . ACHIEVEMENTS Most of the achievements can be earned by playing through to the end of the story. However, there are some achievements that require you to perform specific actions , such as photographing something in particular or solving a puzzle in as few moves as possible. Don't worry about this, I recommend playing the game for the first time without seeking these specific achievements and enjoying what the game has to offer. Once you finish the story, you can access all the chapters through the game menu and go after the achievements you missed. It's quite easy to get 100% of the achievements. CONCLUSION We can describe The Star Named EOS as an incredible artistic experience . The entire game environment is pleasing to the eye and full of life. Since it is in 360º view, it creates situations where you don't expect something to be happening behind you. Playing with headphones is highly recommended , since the sound also works in 360º and immerses you in the experience. Despite being short, the game delivers what it promises. It doesn't need more than its length to tell the story. Once again, Silver Lining Studio deserves congratulations for a very beautiful game with an engaging story . SCORE: 7.5/10

  • Review: Unusual Findings

How do you fit all the 80s references into one game? Unusual Findings will show you how! THE GAME Unusual Findings is a point and click game developed by Epic Llama Games and distributed by ESDigital Games . Vinny, Nick and Tony like adventures and, in one of them, while trying to hack the television to access adult channels, they capture a mysterious broadcast . Then, they witness the fall of a flying object and go to see what happened, after all, our boys are adventurers. Then they discover that an alien is there. Our protagonists find themselves in a complicated situation, but end up taking it upon themselves to solve this problem. What will happen to them? It all depends on their choices . MY IMPRESSIONS A funny phenomenon started to happen after the release of the Stranger Things series, which is the comparison of all content created depicting the 80s with the series. All media that depicts this era is inevitably characterized as "Stranger Things style" and I think that is very unfair, especially with this game here. The developers clearly love the 80s and you notice this in many moments of the game, especially after the end of the game, where we see almost a declaration of love for the era. Maybe the theme is saturated and labeling everything under a big umbrella diminishes the value of works like this. The story is very simple, with a script very typical of films from that era. You can easily imagine this game being a movie. The characters are very stereotypical, but still charismatic. The game is in Brazilian Portuguese , which makes it much easier for Brazilians, since it is a game with a lot of text and most of it helps direct the player and gives tips on what should be done. All the characters are very well voiced, conveying the emotion needed for each moment. The gameplay is a classic point and click where you will have to explore each scenario and think a little to solve the challenges. It has a good level of difficulty for this type of genre, often making me rack my brains to solve some things. The game also has different endings that depend on some decisions you make during the story, which makes you want to see where these endings take you. I myself couldn't imagine any other endings. ACHIEVEMENTS Because there are different choices and endings, the achievements will require a few playthroughs if you want to complete everything. Keep in mind that the first time you play it will take longer, because everything is new, but the next times will be quicker because you know how to solve most of the challenges. Getting 100% of the achievements will be tiring, but not impossible. CONCLUSION Unusual Findings has great quality , since many point and click games don't manage to keep you engaged for long in terms of gameplay longevity. Just having different endings and choices is already something worthy of note. As mentioned before, it could easily be an 80s movie, which has its good side due to the nostalgia, but it doesn't bring anything new to this theme. I confess that I had to play it in small doses because I kept walking from one side to the other without really knowing how to advance, but this break between one game and another helped to continue the story. It's a very fun game , with many references to the 80s and made with a lot of love. If you like the genre, give it a chance. SCORE: 7.5/10

  • Review: Dungeons of Hinterberg

In a stunningly beautiful world, we take on the role of Luisa, exploring 25 distinct and diverse dungeons throughout the game. GAMEPLAY / VISUAL Dungeons of Hinterberg  stands out as a truly unique game, where every aspect shines, whether through its beautiful cel-shaded visuals or its rich variety of gameplay, which skillfully alternates between different game styles and plays with camera perspective shifts. Each day, we are immersed in new tasks that allow us to strengthen our bonds with the game's community, a process essential for progression, as it is through these interactions that we acquire unique characteristics, items, and abilities from the diverse NPCs inhabiting this vibrant universe. The visual design of Dungeons of Hinterberg  is absolutely breathtaking. Every time the gameplay branches out, alternating between an isometric style or platforming, the experience is awe-inspiring. These shifts even spark some curiosity: the traditional third-person camera occasionally makes me wonder if the developers could have created something equally extraordinary had they opted for an isometric view throughout the entire game. However, despite its impressive qualities, three aspects significantly bothered me. First, the limited diversity of enemies and their similarities, which reduce the challenge and variety in combat. Second, the predictability of the storyline, which diminishes the narrative impact. And lastly, in terms of gameplay, the jumping mechanics fall short, revealing a certain lack of refinement on the developers' part in this specific area. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements in Dungeons of Hinterberg  are exemplary, striking a perfect balance between fairness, challenge, and variety. The developer clearly did their homework, crafting achievements that require skill and dedication without becoming monotonous. However, there is one caveat regarding the collectibles: the task of finding all the chests or every unique coin in each level can become repetitive and somewhat exhausting, standing in contrast to the rest of the achievements, which are more varied and engaging. TRAILER OFFICIAL RESUME I had a lot of fun with Dungeons of Hinterberg  and was pleasantly surprised by the game's length—it takes a while to get close to the end of the story. It's definitely worth diving into Luisa's journey. Each character design in the game is unique, well-crafted, and truly diverse. Every "world" is thoroughly explored, and each dungeon offers something different. I'm really excited to see what the developers will create next because this game is undoubtedly one of the standout titles of the year. Review by Gamertag: Scoulz SCORE: 79/100

  • Review: Let's School

Let's School is a management game in the best tycoon style, extremely similar to the new games by Two Point, where we take on the role of a school manager. GAMEPLAY / VISUAL An extremely meticulous game: that’s how I can define Let's School. It’s not a game that will hold your hand and lead you to all the objectives; Let's School is focused, complex, and branched out. We manage every little piece of our school. Right at the beginning, we have a small customization of our "principal" and are placed in a dirty school with some debris that we need to eliminate, much like The Sims in its management mode. Let's School draws a lot of inspiration from management games in the Theme Park style, such as the recent games by Two Point. However, don't think it's just another generic management game. Every little detail makes it unique in its genre, including its very characteristic art, which references anime and Japanese culture. Each student in Let's School has their own personality and demands, making the game quite complex to handle. To solve a problem, various solutions are needed. For example, helping a student be satisfied enough in all academic aspects so that they can do well in their classes. This includes their mood, health, hunger, happiness, and many other aspects, creating a unique challenge for us. ACHIEVEMENTS The achievements are very well crafted and involve objectives that we accomplish during the management of our school. They include goals like giving a speech or getting good grades with the students. I would say that the achievements part, in most management games, is something that companies rarely get wrong in this regard. TRAILER OFFICIAL CONCLUSÃO Let's School is undoubtedly an incredible management game. However, in the console version tested, I must say that the game's interface leaves much to be desired, being somewhat unintuitive. Although it's challenging to demand this from a management game, I believe there could be some possibilities to facilitate its playability on consoles, such as an adaptation for keyboard and mouse, since all modern consoles support these peripherals. There's a lot to do in Let's School; it is a complete game within its genre and offers extremely complex and enjoyable gameplay. I would say that the console version is more comprehensive than Two Point's own games, which focus on unnecessary diversifications. Let's School concentrates where it matters: on methods and students, and that is very good. Review by Gamertag: Scoulz SCORE: 76/100
